Hello, I’m so glad you’ve dropped in!
I’m Amy, a wife, step-mom, writer and life-long bookaholic living in the shadows of Utah’s mountains.
Page and Print is a blog devoted to book reviews and encouraging the love of reading in readers of all ages. If you’re looking for a book recommendation you’ve come to the right place!
I have a master’s degree in education from Penn State University with an emphasis in children’s literature. I worked as an elementary educator, including some time teaching English in Thailand, and as a children’s librarian for years so my heart belongs to children’s books. You’ll see a proliferation of picture books, beginning readers, middle grade and even young adult books here but I’m nothing if not an equal opportunity book lover so never fear, there will be adult books featured occasionally as well. I’ve always got a stack of books on my nightstand; historical and realistic fiction, fantasy, sci-fi, non-fiction, you name it. There’s bound to be something for everyone!
When I’m not reading, you can find me haunting libraries or bookstores for my next book. Occasionally I do take a break from all things bookish to eat amazing food, listen to live music, watch movies with the hubster navigate the waters of step-motherhood with a teenager, hike and explore…or better yet, travel the world! (Next on the list of places to visit is Iceland. Any travel tips are welcome!)
Thanks again for stopping by. Please feel free to leave your comments and say hi. I look forward to reading with you!
P.S. In addition to blogging about books here, I also blog about life in general over at Adventures in Mediocrity. Come take a look!
